2025 SALT SPRING ISLAND FALL FAIR
Volunteer at the Fall Fair
The Salt Spring Fall Fair is one of the island’s longest-running and most cherished traditions — a true celebration of community, talent, agriculture, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun. But this special event doesn’t come together on its own. Organized entirely by volunteers, it takes the time, energy, heart, and helping hands of folks like you.
Whether you’ve got a couple of hours or the whole weekend, there’s a place for you at the Fair. Bring a friend, bring the kids, or just bring your best plaid! No experience needed, just a willingness to jump in and be part of something special.
Come lend a hand, meet your neighbours, and help carry on a cherished island tradition that’s been bringing people together for generations.
Volunteer Roles

Setup Crew – Help prepare the grounds before the Fair kicks off with signage, tent placement, etc.

Gate Greeters – Welcome guests, take payments, distribute wristbands, etc.

Indoor Monitors – Watch over exhibits in the main hall

Corn Stand Crew – Shuck, butter, and serve everyone’s favourite Fair treat
