2025 SALT SPRING ISLAND FALL FAIR
Volunteer at the Fall Fair
The Salt Spring Fall Fair is one of the island’s longest-running and most cherished traditions; a true celebration of community, talent, agriculture, creativity, and good old-fashioned fun. But this special event doesn’t come together on its own — it takes the time, energy, heart, and helping hands of volunteers like you.
Whether you’ve got a couple of hours or the whole weekend, there’s a place for you at the Fair. Bring a friend, bring the kids, or just bring your best plaid. No experience needed, just a willingness to jump in and be part of something special.
Come lend a hand, meet your neighbours, and help carry on a cherished island tradition that’s been bringing folks together for generations.
Volunteer Roles

Setup Crew – Help prepare the grounds before the Fair kicks off with signage, tent placement, etc.

Gate Greeters – Welcome guests, take payments, distribute wristbands, etc.

Indoor Monitors – Watch over exhibits in the main hall

Outdoor Monitors – Keep an eye on the animals and ensure they have fresh water and stay safe

Corn Stand Crew – Shuck, butter, and serve everyone’s favourite Fair treat
