In addition to becoming a member, there are many ways to support the Farmers’ Institute and help sustain local agriculture:
 

• Volunteer Your Time – Join our Tuesday morning work crew or FOTFI (Friends of the Farmers Institute) to help with building and grounds maintenance, or assist with the Fall Fair by working alongside our coordinators to bring this beloved event to life.

• As Country Grocer’s Save a Tape program has evolved to the digital world, we ask you to scan to box #57 to make sure we receive those tiny donations that really add up!
  
  If you find the new system a hassle, please drop your receipts off at the Farmer’s Institute on Tuesday morning or pass them off to a board member.
   

• Attend the Fall Fair – By attending the Fall Fair, you’re not only celebrating local agriculture but also directly supporting farmers, vendors, and the Institute itself.
   

Thanks to the dedication of our community, the Salt Spring Island Farmers’ Institute remains one of the largest and oldest agricultural institutes in British Columbia. Your support helps keep this legacy alive for future generations.
